pb+j is mid-way through one of the most ambitious replatform projects in CPG (so we've heard!): bringing Wonderbread, Stonefire Bakery, Ace Bakery, Country Harvest, D'Italiano, Casa Mendosa, Santosh Naan, Simple Joys, Terra Chips, Garden of Eatin', and Garden Veggie Snacks, Gadoua, Farmhouse, and the entire FGF Brands / Wonderbrands / Snackrupters family onto a unified, modern Shopify infrastructure.

12 brands live. 8 in the final build. All of them better than before.

The Challenge

These aren't DTC brands in the traditional sense. Nope.

They're international household names with deep retailer relationships and tens of millions of customers who need to find product, access resources, and connect with the brand digitally. The sites needed to do all of that, while meeting accessibility standards and integrating with complex enterprise IT infrastructure.

Complexity factors:

Allowing each brand team to review and approve in parallel without bottlenecks, and enabling shared infrastructure decisions to cascade across all 20 properties simultaneously.

What pb+j built underneath is bigger than the sites themselves. The infrastructure now in place positions FGF Brands / Wonderbrands / Snackrupters to begin using its digital presence as an active insights and innovation engine, capturing consumer behaviour data, predicting trends, testing product concepts, adding real-time customer value, monetization, and informing discussions across the full organization.
